Border Patrol agents assigned to the Calexico Station on Sunday were the first ever within the United States Border Patrol to use an innovated vehicle immobilization device to stop a smuggling vehicle.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m., when agents assigned to Remote Video Surveillance System (RVSS) at the Calexico station, received a citizens call reporting suspicious behavior near Gordon’s Well exit and Interstate 8 involving a yellow PT Cruiser.

2 Arrested After Cass County Deputy Ends Chase With Grappler

CASS COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -- Two people have been arrested after a deputy used a Grappler to end a chase on Thursday night.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the chase happened around 9:50 p.m.

The Cass County deputies were helping the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a chase that was happening south of Harrisonville.

One deputy first deployed a tire deflation device north of Archie on I-49 as the suspect was speeding south.
